Dr. Richard J. Rygiel is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow of FACOG. He earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan and completed his residency at Washington University at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. His areas of special interest include infertility, high-risk obstetrics, colposcopy, advanced laparoscopy, urogynecology, adolescent care, family planning, contraception methods, and menopausal care. He is also certified in pelviscopic and laser surgery.

Upon opening A Renaissance in Women's Healthcare, P.C., Dr. Rygiel is excited to create an environment to assist women to educate themselves about how their bodies work and how to enhance their own health: "It is with great enthusiasm that I can partner with women to empower them to live enriched and healthier lives," he noted.
